British Fascism will solve the problem of unemployment and poverty by the establishment of the Corporate State. This new organisation will increase production and will provide industry with a market for greater output in the greater purchasing power of the British people.
This will be done by National Corporations, controlled by representatives of employers, workers and consumers operating under Fascist Government elected by the whole Nation and responsible for securing a fair division of the proceeds of expanded industry.
The State will lay down the limits within which industry may function, and these limits will be the welfare of the Nation as a whole. Private Enterprise must enrich the Nation as well as the individual. Trade Unions and employers alike must serve the Nation and not the faction, and in so doing will serve their own best interests.
